Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Stakeholders,
It is with great honour and enthusiasm that I assume the role of Director General of NACIN. As I step into this leadership position, I am filled with excitement to lead one of the nation's premier training institutions, now housed in our newly developed, state-of-the-art campus at Palasamudram, Andhra Pradesh. I extend my warm greetings to all those associated with NACIN as we embark on our journey to create an environment where academic, personal, professional and moral growth can thrive and we endeavour to provide excellent tax compliant officers to the field formations.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my predecessors and all those who played a crucial role in building this exceptional campus. I am committed to advancing NACIN's legacy and establishing it as a global leader in training and capacity building in our domain.
In line with the Charter of Functions of NACIN, my focus will be on driving progress through excellence. I am committed to ensuring that our training programs meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. This includes collaborating with field formations for training needs analysis, preparing Officer Trainees and newly promoted officers for their roles and engaging with State/UT governments and international stakeholders to strengthen capacity building in areas such as Customs, GST and Narcotics. We will also continue to focus on enhancing management and soft skills to support the holistic development of our officers.
In a world defined by rapid change and technological advancement, we must strive for excellence. Our campus, equipped with world-class facilities, is dedicated to delivering top-tier training to both domestic and international participants. We are committed to continuously updating our curriculum and implementing the most effective pedagogical methods to ensure our training remains relevant and impactful.
I look forward to your cooperation and active participation in the academy’s activities. Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome, as we work together to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Let us make NACIN a place where learning, growth, and success flourish.
Warm regards,
Dr. M Subramanyam
